2008/2009 Photographic Guild Projects
Chatham Camera Club Exchange

The exchange theme this season is fences...

  • We are asked to take photos of fences
  • We will deliver these photos in the fall (actual deadline to be determined) and we will receive photos from the Chatham Club
  • The Chatham Camera Club will critique our photos, and we will critique theirs
  • Digital images, slides and prints (mininum 8"x10") submissions accepted
Personal Photographic Project

We’d like to give everyone the opportunity to present some of their images at a regular club meeting next year. Therefore, we’d like to present you with a list of ideas that you are encouraged to choose from. These are only suggestions, and you can choose to show us something completely different. Just let us know what it is you would like to do.

Some possible ideas are...

  • Your ten Favorite Photos: Explain why they are your favorites
  • Ten "Unaltered" Photos (only filters that you would use in film photography are to be used). Explain what you like about these images.
  • Ten Before and After Shots: Show us the RAW image before you did anything to it in post processing. Then show us the image after you have done the post processing. Explain what you did in post processing, how you did it and why you think it strengthens you image.
  • If none of these topics appeal to you, feel free to do anything you wish for your presentation. We learn best by doing! Through the sharing of your images we all learn and benefit from each other’s work. The most important thing is to grab your camera, have fun and make some images!

Note: Ten is a minimum number of images your presentation should have. You are welcome to do more but please keep your presentations to approximately 15 minutes.
